Why We Stay (Even When It’s Hard)

There’s a moment every educator knows the quiet in your car before walking into a building that doesn’t always value you. The heaviness of staying when walking away would be easier. The ache of knowing you were made for this, even when everything around you tries to convince you otherwise.

So why do we stay?

We stay because we’re called.

We stay for the students the ones who feel unseen, unheard, unloved. We stay for our fellow educators the ones quietly breaking under the pressure but still showing up. We stay for the hope that something better can grow even here.

But Staying Doesn’t Mean Staying Silent

This is not just about enduring it's about rising. Rising in truth. Rising in faith. Rising in community.

At The Growth Report, we talk honestly about burnout, broken hiring systems, and the way educators are stretched thin mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But we also speak life. We share wisdom, resources, and encouragement to keep going not in our own strength, but through grace. Because even in the wilderness, growth still happens. And sometimes, your presence in that dry place is the water.

What We’re Building Together:

  • Stories of purpose and perseverance

  • Faith-infused insights on burnout, education, and calling

  • Tools for advocacy and reform from a servant’s heart

  • Hope for educators, families, and students alike

You are not just teaching. You are planting. You are discipling. You are lighting the way.

So let us not grow weary in doing good. Because in due season if we do not give up there will be a harvest.

This is The Growth Report. And we’re so glad you’re here.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. -Galatians 6:9
